RAPID CITY, S.D. - Advocacy groups and law enforcement are calling on the public and news organizations across Rapid City and western South Dakota to aid in the search for a 40-year-old Oglala Sioux Tribe woman missing since September.
Dixie Two Bulls, also known by her Lakota name He Sapa Waste Win, was last seen in or around the Pine Ridge area on Sept. 8, 2026. According to South Dakota Missing Persons, the Oglala Sioux Tribe Department of Public Safety entered her into the national missing-person system and is actively seeking tips regarding her whereabouts or known locations.
Advocates issued an appeal to regional outlets, including digital platforms serving Rapid City, asking newsrooms to "help bring renewed attention" to the case. The organization noted that widespread coverage across South Dakota and surrounding states may reach someone with relevant details.
Two Bulls is described as 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighing between 140 and 170 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. She has a distinctive large tattoo located on the left side of her neck. The South Dakota missing-person clearinghouse reports she was last seen wearing a blue tank top, a white shirt, a black sweater, maroon sweatpants and black shoes.
