The South Dakota Arts Council is currently accepting submissions for the 2025 Congressional Art Competition. South Dakota students in grades 9-12 have until April 15, 2025, to submit their original artwork. The winning piece will be displayed in Washington, D.C. until May 2026. The council also offers grants, artist directories, and touring artist programs.
The submission deadline is Tuesday, April 15, 2025.
To submit your student artwork, please do the following:
Download and complete the Student Release Form [linked here]
Upload a high-resolution (at least 300 pixels per inch) jpeg image of your artwork
Attach both the image and the form to a single email and send to rebecca.cruse@state.sd.us
