RAPID CITY, S.D. – The Rapid City Public Library is set to host a special story time event with local author Whitnee Coy on Saturday, August 30. The event, which begins at 2 p.m. in the Community Room, will feature Coy reading from her new book, “Elsie’s Adventures to Harmony Hills: The Big Move.”
The book addresses themes of change and dealing with strong emotions, a topic aimed at helping young readers navigate difficult feelings. Following the reading, children are invited to participate in a hands-on activity designed to further explore the management of big feelings.
The event is part of the library’s ongoing commitment to providing engaging and educational programs for the community in Rapid City and the Black Hills of South Dakota.
