Lori Svoboda and Scott Spencer join as new additions to the Board.
RAPID CITY, SD April 2, 2025 – The YMCA of Rapid City is excited to announce the appointment of its new Board of Directors for 2025, marking an important milestone in the continued growth and success of the organization. The newly appointed board members bring a wealth of experience, leadership, and passion for the YMCA’s mission of strengthening community through programs and services that support youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility.
The new Board of Directors will work closely with YMCA leadership to guide the organization in its efforts to address community needs, promote inclusivity, and expand its impact across the region.

The 2025 Board of Directors includes:

The Board of Directors officially began their term March 27 following the annual meeting, and their leadership will play a vital role in shaping the future of the YMCA and its role within the community.
