Wild Deadwood Reads Returns for Ninth Annual Event, Drawing Bestselling Authors to Black Hills
DEADWOOD, SD – Book lovers across the Black Hills and South Dakota are invited to the ninth annual Wild Deadwood Reads, a multi-genre book signing event, on Saturday, June 14, 2025. The popular literary gathering will be held at The Lodge at Deadwood from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Wild Deadwood Reads will feature over 90 authors from across the country, including numerous New York Times and USA Today bestselling authors. Attendees can expect to discover a wide array of genres, including romance, suspense, thriller, mystery, historical fiction, Christian, children’s books, Westerns, non-fiction, and more, ensuring something for every member of the family.
Confirmed bestselling authors scheduled to attend include Carolyn Brown, G.K. Brady, Lorelei James, T.O. Paine, Katy Lee, Christine Mager Wevik, and Marie Johnston. The event will also highlight many local authors and feature appearances by cover models Tony Brettman, Robert Kelly, and Crystal Viola.
Admission to Wild Deadwood Reads is free, offering a unique opportunity for readers to meet their favorite authors, discover new voices, and enjoy numerous giveaways and prizes.
