RAPID CITY, SD—Crews are responding to a water line break this morning on Deadwood Avenue, between the Black Hills Energy’s Ben French Station and Krebs Drive.

City officials indicate water has been re-routed to provide most customer locations with water service, however two businesses are currently without water service.

Work crews are working to re-establish services to the two businesses. Traffic control devices are being put in place and travel lanes will be restricted at times during the repair process.  Motorists are advised to use caution and reduce speed in the affected area.

Time frame for completion of repairs to the water main and street are expected to take approximately 2-3 weeks.

Updates will be provided when available.
