RAPID CITY, SD – Despite the arrival of September, swimmers in Rapid City can still enjoy the outdoors at Roosevelt Park’s 50-meter pool. Parks and Recreation officials in the Black Hills community announced the pool will remain open until Saturday, September 20, weather permitting.

While other outdoor pools in Rapid City, South Dakota at Parkview, Horace Mann, and Sioux Park closed last month, Roosevelt Park Swim Center continues to offer a place for people to cool off.

The pool’s hours are 8 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. on weekdays, 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Saturdays, and noon to 5:30 p.m. on Sundays.
