RAPID CITY, S.D. – The annual Veteran’s Classic baseball tournament wrapped up Sunday with Sheridan winning the championship game.
The Troopers defeated Rapid City Post 22 6-2 to win the title.
The loss snaps a 13-game win streak for the Hardhats and is just their second loss of the season.
Post 320 also lost on Sunday, snapping their 13 game win streak. The Stars dropped a tough 10-6 fight to Pierre. The game ended up going to extra innings with the score 6-6. Pierre would put up four runs in the 8th inning to win.
The Rapid City Post 22 18U squad ended the tournament 5-0, as they got an 18-5 win over the 406 Flyers 18U team.
And, the Sturgis Titans closed out the tournament with a 5-3 loss to Scottsbluff.
