UNDATED – In area girls softball action Thursday, East River teams were in the Black Hills to play games vs Spearfish, Sturgis and Rapid City Stevens.
Sturgis dropped a pair of games to Sioux Falls Roosevelt and Sioux Falls Washington. The Scoopers lost to Roosevelt 9-4 and got shut out by Washington 14-0 in five innings.
Spearfish also lost to Roosevelt and Washington. The Spartans dropped a 17-2 game to the Warriors before losing 9-6 to the Rough Riders.
Rapid City Stevens, however, won their two games over Brandon Valley and Sioux Falls O’Gorman.
Stevens beat the Lynx by the score of 8-3 and downed the Knights 12-8.
All three teams are in action today as Spearfish and Sturgis play Brandon Valley and O’Gorman with Stevens taking on Washington and Roosevelt.
