The South Dakota Seal of Biliteracy is a prestigious recognition that honors students who have attained a high level of proficiency in English and at least one additional language. Rapid City Area Schools is proud to announce that three students have been awarded the Seal for 2025. This achievement highlights the dedication of these students and the value of bilingualism in today’s world.
This year’s recipients, who demonstrated proficiency in Spanish and Japanese, are:
- Olivia Miller – Spanish
- Arabella Scott – Spanish
- Sakurako Tinant – Japanese

These skills will serve them well in college, career, and life.”
