BELLE FOURCHE, S.D. – On Monday, September 22, at 7:00PM, Joe Wiegand, the nation’s leading Theodore Roosevelt reprisor, will perform his Teddy Roosevelt Show at the Belle Fourche Recreation Center at 1111 National Street in Belle Fourche, South Dakota.

All proceeds from the freewill donation event will benefit the Belle Fourche Silver Lining Senior Center in Belle Fourche.  Checks payable to Silver Lining will be accepted. Earlier in the day, from noon to 1:30PM, Wiegand will join the blood drive being held at the Silver Lining Center.  The blood drive is accepting donors from 9:30AM until 1:30PM.

On Tuesday, September 23, Wiegand will appear as Theodore Roosevelt at Belle Fourche Middle School.  Wiegand’s appearances are a gift to the community of Belle Fourche by the Theodore Roosevelt Medora Foundation of Medora, North Dakota, for whom Wiegand has been performing since 2012.

“I’m thrilled to bring TR to life in Belle Fourche, home of Seth Bullock, one of Roosevelt’s dearest friends,” said Wiegand.  “Seth Bullock helped build Friendship Tower, dedicated to Theodore Roosevelt in 1919.  This is, in part, my way to say thank you to Seth Bullock and to the generations of South Dakotans who have come to Medora to enjoy the Medora Musical and Theodore Roosevelt National Park,” continued Wiegand.

Wiegand will also update the audience on the progress of the Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library & Museum, scheduled to open on July 4, 2026 in Medora, North Dakota.
