RAPID CITY, S.D. – The Sturgis Post 33 Titans opened up play at the Veterans Tournament at Pete Lien Field Thursday.
The Titans beat the Platte Valley Companies from Gering 7-2.
They will next take on the Sheridan Troopers at 11:30 this morning.
Also at the Veterans Classic, Rapid City Post 320 got a 10-7 win over the 406 Flyers.
Max Speed for Post 320 collected three hits in three at bats and had a solo home run in the third inning to lead the Stars.
Today, Post 320 plays Platte Valley and the Cody Cubs.
