Sturgis Economic Development Corp. seeking new Development Coordinator

STURGIS, S.D. – The Sturgis Economic Development Corporation announced Monday it is seeking a new Economic Development Coordinator.

Executive Director Amanda Anglin says Brenna Block is leaving the organization to join her family’s growing business.

Anglin says Block will stay on during the transition to help ensure a smooth handoff when a new coordinator is hired.

Block was hired in March of 2024.

The Economic Development Coordinator will be responsible for working with business, industry, government,
education and others as appropriate in the identification of business development needs in Sturgis,
Summerset, and throughout Meade County.
