SPEARFISH, S.D. – The Sturgis Scooper Competitive Cheer team placed in the runner-up position at the Spearfish Invite Monday evening.
The Scoopers finished with 139 points. Rapid City Central placed first in the competition, scoring 177.50 points.
Douglas came in third with 124 points, St Thomas More placed fourth with 114 points and Belle Fourche rounded out the top five with 89.50 points.
Winning the Dance competition was Rapid City Central with 355,50 points. Rapid City Stevens was second with 335 points.
