Stevens High School Boys Soccer Team Defeats Huron Tigers

The Stevens High School boys’ soccer team, the Raiders, secured a shutout victory against the Huron Tigers, winning 3-0 at Sioux Park Stadium. With this win, the Raiders remain undefeated with a 4-0 record.

Miles Wright led the offense with two goals, both assisted by Colton Kuyper. The first goal of the game came from Trent Policky in the 15th minute, assisted by Josh Mueller. Wright and Kuyper then connected for goals in the 39th and 66th minutes.

Defensively, the Raiders were dominant, holding the Tigers to just four shots on goal. Creed Tennyson, the Raiders’ goalkeeper, made a solid save on each of Huron’s attempts. Offensively, Stevens put 10 shots on frame, demonstrating a strong performance.

The Raiders will play next week in matchups against Pierre and Aberdeen Central.
