WATERTOWN, S.D. – At the State Legion Baseball Tournament, Rapid City Post 320 saw a four-run lead evaporate as Harrisburg overtook them and held on for a 6-5 win last night.

The game was tied at 5 in the bottom of the seventh when the Stars allowed a walked-in run for the victory.

Harrisburg’s Rylan Boe drew the winning walk, scoring the winning run with the bases loaded.

The tournament is double-elimination, so Post 320 stays alive. They will face Yankton at 3:00 p.m. in an elimination game. Yankton eliminated Renner yesterday in another close game, 5 to 4.

Rapid City Post 22, in the meantime, rolled over Watertown 14 to 4.

Lars Kieffer drove in six runs on three hits to help lead the Hardhats in their second win in a row after falling to Post 320 in the opening game.

Kieffer hit a home run to left field in the second inning scoring three, doubled in the sixth inning scoring two and hit a sacrifice fly in the fifth adding another run.

Post 22 now gets Harrisburg tonight at 6:00 p.m.
