RAPID CITY, S.D. – The South Dakota Class AA and Class A State Cheer and Dance Competition is underway in Rapid City.
The Class ‘A’ competition was held on Friday evening at the Summit Arena and Class ‘AA’ schools will compete on Saturday.
The grand champion cheer winner was the Sioux Valley Cossacks.
The Cossacks, who finished 267 points, have now won the state cheer title for the 18th straight year.
Meanwhile, Dakota Valley won the state title in dance for the 15th straight year.
