SPEARFISH, S.D. – The Spearfish Sasquatch defeated the Fremont Moo iLB 2-0 on Friday as three pitchers combined to throw a shutout.
Evan Luke, Jackson Peters, and Hudson Hart each pitched for Spearfish Sasquatch iLB in the game. Peters induced a groundout from Jake Mitchell to get the last out.
Both teams were strong on the mound. Spearfish Sasquatch iLB pitchers struck out nine, while Fremont Moo iLB sat down 11.
Spearfish Sasquatch iLB opened the scoring in the second after Payton Fort doubled, scoring one run.
