SPEARFISH, S.D. – Sturgis girls softball won a pair of games on Saturday at the Spearfish Softball Complex.
The Scoopers earned a 5-4 walk-off victory vs Mitchell. The game was tied at four in the bottom of the seventh when Jayna Johnston singled to score the winning run.
In their second game, Emerson Gardner hit two home runs and drove in five as the Scoopers defeated Yankton 10-6.
Sturgis improves to 7-7 on the season.
