PIERRE, S.D. – In Independence League action, the Spearfish Sasquatch opened a series with Oahe Tuesday night and came away with a 14-7 win.
Carson Raether drove in five runs on three hits to lead Spearfish.
Raether doubled in the seventh inning scoring three, hit a solo home run to right field in the third scoring one and hit a sacrifice fly in the fifth scoring one.
The two teams will meet tonight for game two.
