SPEARFISH, S.D. – The Spearfish Sasquatch collected 10 hits on the night, but fell to the Fremont Moo Thursday by the score of 5-4.
Lucas Terilli, Chase Scott, Payton Fort, and Ethan Mooser each collected two hits for Spearfish Sasquatch iLB.
A sacrifice fly by Luke Saxton put Fremont Moo iLB on the board in the top of the second.
Fremont Moo iLB added one run in the third. , making the score 2-0.
Broc Songster earned the win for Fremont Moo iLB. The starter allowed five hits and two runs over six and two-thirds innings, striking out five and walking three. Evan Luke took the loss for Spearfish Sasquatch iLB. The righty went five and one-third innings, surrendering four runs (three earned) on four hits, striking out six and walking five.
