Garrett Wilson is frustrated with the New York Jets' lack of wins and his suddenly limited role in the offense. The star wide receiver is in his fifth season and has become the subject of trade rumors ahead of the NFL's trade deadline. Wilson insists he wants to stay with the Jets and focus on winning. Last Sunday, he had just two catches for 26 yards in a loss to Miami. Wilson acknowledged his frustration but emphasized his desire to win. He remains committed to the team, despite social media buzz linking him to other playoff-contending teams.

Jacksonville Jaguars receiver Brian Thomas Jr. is trying to flush his London benching. He now wants to do everything possible to “be the best team player I can.” Thomas plans to treat Sunday’s home game against Indianapolis as a fresh start following the worst six-game stretch of his three-year NFL career. Thomas was benched at halftime of Jacksonville’s loss to Houston at Wembley Stadium on Oct. 18, raising speculation that the 23rd overall pick in the 2024 draft might get traded during the team’s bye. Nothing materialized, and now the 4-2 Jaguars are counting on Thomas making plays beginning against the 2-5 Colts.

Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley says he had to divest his equity stake in Polymarket because of NFL rules. The league bans players from investing in or endorsing gambling or prediction-market companies. Barkley told Front Office Sports that any involvement with prediction markets is now prohibited by the NFL. The NBA, Major League Baseball, NHL and MLS all have deals with companies like Kalshi and Polymarket. Philadelphia 76ers star LeBron James reportedly earns $15 million annually as a paid endorser for Polymarket. Prediction markets allow trading on the outcome of future events, with sports being a significant focus.
