The Rapid City Rush recently promoted Georgia Veatch.
Rapid City, SD – Georgia Veatch, Vice President of Business Development for the Rapid City Rush brought home the prestigious Corporate Partnership of the Year award from the ECHL summer meetings held in Orlando Florida.
Miss Veatch holds the honor of being the first and only woman to earn this coveted award from the ECHL according to Joe Babik, Senior PR /historical specialist of the ECHL.
Miss Veatchs’ role as Vice President of Business Development encompasses planning, activating and leading communication with enterprise partners. She analyzes how their needs and goals align with that of the Rapid City Rush and acts accordingly to the benefit of both parties.
Georgia, born and raised in Dallas Texas earned her bachelor’s degree in advertising from Texas Tech University in 2022.
Miss Veatch has extensive knowledge of sports marketing having worked several positions with the sports industry. These inclde internships with the athletic department at Texas Tech University in fan engagement and promotion and at Alliance Sport Marketing in Nashville TN where she learned skills as an event coordinator.. She also worked as a sales associate for the New Jersey Devils NHL franchise.
Georgia began her career with the Rapid City Rush as the Partnership Activation Coordinator in May of 2023. In May of 2025 she was promoted to Vice President of Business Development for the Rapid City Rush organization.
