Rock Thrower Arrested

Rapid City, S.D. – A Rapid City man was arrested Tuesday after allegedly throwing rocks at people and vehicles in a parking lot on North Elk Vale Road. The Rapid City Police Department reported that officers were dispatched around 4:45 p.m. on July 23 to 1314 N. Elk Vale Road for a disturbance.

Police identified the suspect as 24-year-old Clayton Highwolf of Rapid City. Witnesses told officers that Highwolf began throwing landscaping rocks at various vehicles in the parking lot.

Highwolf was arrested and faces four counts of simple assault and four counts of felony vandalism. He was transported to the Pennington County Jail and booked at 5:18pm.
