The Rapid City Rush Hockey team was acquired by Spire Sports + Entertainment (SS+E) in 2019. Spires motto of Building High Performance teams that inspire our communities fits well within the service driven high caliber work ethic found in Rapid City South Dakota.

The Rapid City Rush have been providing family friendly, live entertainment at The Monument located at 444 Mt Rushmore Rd since 2008. The Rush are the highest-level professional minor league franchise in South Dakota, and are the proud ECHL affiliate of the NHL’s Calgary Flames and the AHL’s Calgary Wranglers. Since joining the ECHL, the Rush have been a competitive presence in the league.
The team’s success on the ice, combined with their dedicated fan base, has helped establish the Rapid City Rush as a vital part of the city’s sports culture. Over 100,000 fans attend home games each year. The Monument rink has a seating capacity of 12,500 leaving plenty of room for you to attend home games this year.
