BELLE FOURCHE, S.D. — With boots polished and crowns shining, the 2024 Black Hills Roundup royalty is ready to lead the 2025 celebration in style. Kiara Brown, crowned Miss Black Hills Roundup in 2024, will be joined by Jr. Miss Atty Eastman and Princess Addison Brownell as they represent one of South Dakota’s most cherished rodeo traditions.

The Black Hills Roundup returns June 30 through July 5 in Belle Fourche and will feature a full schedule of rodeo performances, a brand-new carnival, an exciting fireworks finale by the Clarkson Family Foundation, and a patriotic parade on July 4 at 10:30 a.m. The theme this year is Stars, Stripes and Spurs and includes a crowd-pleasing B-1 bomber flyover.

The reigning queens have had a busy year representing the Roundup. Addison Brownell shared her proudest moment, carrying the American flag at Hart Ranch. Atty Eastman, a four-sport athlete, also performs trick riding and says it’s like gymnastics on horseback. Kiara Brown, who recently wrapped up her college gymnastics career and now coaches high school athletes in Wisconsin, continues to stay active in the rodeo world.

They offered advice to future royalty, encouraging confidence, hard work, and staying involved in the community. Throughout the Roundup week, the three will attend sponsor visits, parade lineups, autograph sessions, and take part in rodeo arena duties.

This year’s event will also feature special guests, including Miss Rodeo America Kelly Mueller, Miss Rodeo South Dakota Jordan Jensen, and Miss Rodeo California.

Tickets are reserved and limited. To get yours, visit BlackHillsRoundup.com or stop by the Tri-State Museum and Visitor Center in Belle Fourche.

As the queens proudly say, “The Buck Starts Here!”
