RAPID CITY, SD — The Rapid City Police Department announced today that on November 24th, they conducted operations in collaboration with loss prevention partners, leading to three arrests.
“CID detectives and assisting patrol units strategically targeted areas experiencing repeated theft activity in the Rushmore Crossing area.” Said Scott Sitts, assistant chief of police in a statement to the press. “Throughout the operation, investigators monitored retail centers, collaborated with store personnel, and intervened in theft incidents as they occurred”.
The individuals arrested were 28-year-old Christian Degeest, Janelle Fisher, a 36-year-old resident of Hermosa, and a juvenile offender who goes unidentified in the release.
