RAPID CITY, S.D. – As Rapid City Police continue stepped up enforcement at an apartment complex on E. Watertown Street, they reported at least 14 extra patrols and a quiet night.

Police spokesman Brenden Medina says during the course of those extra patrols at the Oxford Square Apartments, no criminal issues were encountered.

Medina says police will continue to provide appropriate law enforcement resources in and around the location as they continue to work with property management to address needed security measures to ensure the safety of residents at the complex.

Police continue to investigate a pair of homicides that have taken place there over the past couple of weeks.
