RCPD report two incidents in which guns were stolen from vehicles

RAPID CITY, S.D. – Rapid City Police say two firearms were stolen out of vehicles this week.

Both thefts were reported on the 14^th, one on Space Court, the other on Rapp Street.

Police say the reporting party in the first theft stated their vehicle was left unlocked overnight and a loaded handgun was stolen.

In the second incident, the reporting party says the thief or thieves forced a vehicle door open and took a handgun inside.
