RCPD investigating reports of gunshots in Star Village Neighborhood

RAPID CITY, S.D. – Police are actively investigating multiple reports of gunfire in the Star Village neighborhood and surrounding streets, including Saint Andrew St., Saint Francis St., and Saint Charles St., over the past week. Detectives are actively working to identify and apprehend those responsible.

Residents with information about these incidents are urged to contact Detective Kristin Osborn at 605-394-4134. Anonymous tips can also be submitted by texting the letters RCPD and the information to 847411.

The RCPD assures the public that these crimes are being addressed with the highest priority to ensure community safety.
