Ryan Wagner, team captain of the Rapid City Rush, achieved his 100th ECHL point against rival Kansas City Mavericks at Cable Dahmer Arena in Indianapolis Missouri on October 17th 2025. Wagner’s primary assist to Blake Bennett scored the first goal at 17:06 during the first period of the first game of the 2025 – 2026 ECHL season.
Though the Rapid City Rush fell to the Kansas City Mavericks 3-2 in the first game of a 2-day series it wasn’t for lack of trying.
Goals by Blake Bennett and Brett Davis kept the excitement up on and off the bench. Connor Murphy in goal for the Rush saved an impressive 40 pucks from entering the net.
The series against the Kansas City Mavericks continues tomorrow at 5:05 mst.
