RAPID CITY, S.D. – In legion baseball, both Rapid City Post 22 and Post 320 wrapped up play at the Gopher Classic in Minnesota Monday.
Post 320 ended the tournament with a tough 6-5 loss to the Sartell Legion Baseball Team.
The Stars led by four at one point in the game, but couldn’t hold a late charge by Sartell.
Meanwhile, Post 22 split a pair of games of Monday.
The Hardhats rolled to a 17-0 win over Pinnacle Bank thanks in part to a 12 run first inning.
Post 22 dropped their second game Monday to the Carpet Land Rugs 5-2.
Wyatt Reeder had three hits to lead the Hardhats in the loss.
In legion action today, Spearfish Post 164 is in action, as they take on the Casper Oilers in a twin bill.
The Sturgis Missiles also have a doubleheader scheduled at the Rapid City Post 320 Risers.
