Update from the RCPD: Tyler Ironboy has been located and taken into custody for Aiding and Abetting Second Degree Murder and a Parole Hold.

RAPID CITY, S.D. – Rapid City Police are asking for the public’s help to find a second suspect in a homicide that occurred earlier this week at Oxford Square Apartments. Police have identified 31-year-old Tyler Ironboy of Rapid City as a suspect in the assault that led to the death of 24-year-old Michael Ladeaux. Ironboy is currently on parole.

Ladeaux was found with serious injuries on the night of September 8 at an apartment complex on E. Watertown Street. He was taken to a hospital where he was later pronounced dead. Another man, 24-year-old Joshua Thunderhawk, was previously arrested for second degree murder in connection with the incident.

The Rapid City Police Department is asking anyone with information about Ironboy’s whereabouts to contact them immediately at 605-394-4131. Anonymous tips can also be submitted by texting ‘RCPD’ and the information to 847411. This is the second homicide at the Oxford Square Apartments this year. The police department has expressed concern about the property, which is managed by Tzadik Management, citing ongoing issues with unsecure vacant apartments and a lack of action on repeat unlawful behavior. The department has dedicated additional resources to patrol the area.
