Rapid City man arrested after shots fired incident

RAPID CITY, S.D. – Rapid City Police say they arrested a 23-year-old man following a shots fired incident early Thursday morning.

Police say they responded to a gunshots heard report in the 700 block of E Anamosa Street and spoke to several witnesses.

Following the interviews, police were sent to an apartment at 729 E. Anamosa where they located several shell casings.

After speaking to multiple people inside, it they arrested Bellminion Trujillo of Rapid city for possession of a loaded firearm while intoxicated as well as reckless discharge of a firearm.

He was taken to the Pennington County Jail.

No injuries were reported as a result of the shots fired incident.
