Rapid City Juvenile Arrested For Breaking And Entering

RAPID CITY, SD — At 12:20am this morning, police were dispatched to the Big D Convenience Store just off of Highway 44, following the activation of a burglary alarm. 

Upon arrival officers found that the front door glass of the store had been shattered, and following entry determined that no one remained within the building. Reviewing the security footage, police were able to identify a suspect, who was later located around 300 Mickelson Drive.

The suspect, who remains unidentified in police statements was “identified as a juvenile. He was detained and subsequently entered into the appropriate channels of the juvenile justice system.” according to RCPD Community Relations Specialist Brendyn Medina.
