The 8 recruits have completed a 13 week training class and will top it all off with a final run starting at Fire Station 1 in Downtown Rapid City, down main street to 7th street and back. The RCFD has invited the community to come celebrate and welcome them into the Fire Department. They have also asked that you NOT park near Fire Station 1 because of the construction. But to instead line up by the Firehouse restaurant and main street square. Listen and watch as Brandon Jones and Chief Hunter Harlan take a tour of their new training facility that is still growing.
