RAPID CITY, SD – At 8:00am this morning, police were dispatched following a report of an unresponsive person located under the I-190 bridge in Rapid City. The body was found to be deceased upon arrival.
Rapid City Police Department Representative Brendyn Medina stated that “During the preliminary stages of the investigation, police noted some suspicious circumstances about the scene” which prompted the involvement of Criminal Investigation into any potential incident. Details about what prompted this are sparse at the time of writing, as police at this time wish to maintain the integrity of the investigation while it is in its early stages, with Medina stating in response to inquiry “I hope to be able to offer more info as the investigation progresses”.
