RAPID CITY, SD – South Dakota Wildland Fire (SDWF) and South Dakota Highway Patrol (SDHP) are joining forces with Vitalant for the first annual

“Pistols and Pulaskis Blood Drive” one month from today in Rapid City

This friendly competition invites community members to donate blood and cast their vote for either SDWF or SDHP. The agency with the most donations earns bragging rights for the year.

The event runs from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. inside the Rapid City Outdoor Campus building, located at 4130 Adventure Trail. Blood donations typically decline during the winter months, making this an ideal time to give.

Appointments are encouraged due to limited availability. To schedule your donation, visit https://bit.ly/pistolsandpulaskisblooddrive or call Vitalant at 877-258-4825 to schedule for the Pistols and Pulaskis Blood Drive by phone.

SDWF and SDHP are both agencies of the South Dakota Department of Public Safety.
