RAPID CITY, S.D. — Pennington County has announced two separate road closures for scheduled maintenance in late August. Both closures will have detours in place and are expected to be completed by the end of the week.
Big Foot Road Closure
Beginning Monday, August 25, a portion of Big Foot Road will be closed from Wolf Road south to Paulsen Road. The closure is for culvert work and is expected to last through Thursday, August 28. Detours will be in place to guide motorists around the work zone.
South A Avenue Closure
In New Underwood, South A Avenue will be closed for railroad crossing work. The closure is scheduled from Tuesday, August 26, through Thursday, August 28, and a detour will be available for drivers.
