Peter “Pete” Mark Ferguson, 52, of Belle Fourche, SD passed away October 16, 2025, at Rapid City Hospice House with loving family by his side.
Pete was born in Toms River, NJ to Chuck and Joyce (Hannah) Ferguson. Pete has two siblings, a brother and sister, Ralph “Chuck” Ferguson and Rebekah “Becky” Mommerency. His father was in the Navy, so the family traveled a lot throughout his life.
Pete later ended up in Sheridan, WY where he met and married his wife, Tami (Weaver). They were then blessed with two children, Isabella and Alexander, before moving to Belle Fourche, SD.
He was a funny, smart, and outspoken man who loved movies, music, and history. Pete ended up pursuing a career as a paramedic at Monument Health as well as AMR in Pierre, SD.
Pete is preceded in death by his grandparents, John and Barbara Ferguson and his father, Charles H. Ferguson.
He is survived by his Wife, Tami Ferguson; Daughter, Isabella (Chase Irwin) Ferguson; Son, Alexander Ferguson; Mother, Joyce (John) E. Furguson; Brother, Ralph (Thao) C. Ferguson; Sister, Rebekah (Sean M.) L. Mommerency.
A Celebration of Life will be held later in June 2026.
