Lynette Rene Vorachek, a beacon of love and kindness, returned to her Heavenly Father on July 1, 2025, at the age of 67. Born on July 11, 1957, in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Lynette’s life was a testament to the power of faith, the warmth of family, and the joy of simple pleasures.
Lynette’s journey began as the cherished daughter of Earl “Kelly” and Eileen Callahan, whose values and love shaped her into the extraordinary woman she became. Her formative years were spent in the embrace of Sioux Falls, where she graduated from O’Gorman High School in 1975, laying the foundation for a life of service and connection. Lynette’s heart found its match in her beloved husband, Kelly Vorachek, with whom she built a life rich in laughter and mutual respect.
Together, they raised two remarkable sons, Kyle, with his wife Andrea, and Dana, who brought boundless joy into Lynette’s world. Her grandson, Emerson Vorachek, was the light of her life, a gift that continued to illuminate her days with youthful wonder. Lynette’s love extended to her siblings, Jon Anderson, Becky, and Shelly Jacobsen, who will forever cherish the memories of their sister’s unwavering support and infectious smile.
Lynette’s professional life was marked by 15 years of dedicated service in the telecommunications business, but her true calling was found in the heart of her home. As a devoted mother and homemaker, she created a haven of warmth and care that was felt by all who crossed her threshold. Her Christian faith was the cornerstone of her existence, guiding her actions and comforting her spirit.
She found great pleasure in scrapbooking, capturing the precious moments of life in pages that would tell the story of her family’s love for generations to come. Traveling with her family, exploring new places, and making memories was a source of great happiness for Lynette. Her love for dogs, particularly her poodles Mocha and Coco, was a reflection of her compassionate heart.
Lynette lived by the words of Mother Teresa, “Spread love everywhere you go. Let no one ever come to you without leaving happier.” Indeed, Lynette’s presence was a source of happiness and love for all who knew her. Her loving, kind, and friendly nature made her a beloved figure in her community and an angel in her family’s lives.
As we bid farewell to Lynette Rene Vorachek, we hold tight to the assurance that her legacy of love will continue to inspire and guide us. She has left an indelible mark on this world, and though we mourn her passing, we also celebrate the extraordinary life she led. Lynette’s spirit will forever be woven into the tapestry of the lives she touched, and her memory will be cherished in the hearts of her family, friends, and all who were blessed to know her.
