Loyce leaves behind her beloved husband, of 72 years, Robert Gene Harville, son Ron Harville (Iva Harville), Cheryl Talley, and Marla Sydnor (Bruce Sydnor). Also 9 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews that she dearly loved.
Our mother had so many joys in life from singing with her sisters in church while growing up and picking the guitar. She loved raising her voice in praise and leading song service. As a young adult, wife and mother she also was a youth leader for the girls in church. She truly had a heart for God and doing His will.
During the holidays, you could smell the sweet aromas coming from our family kitchen as our mother baked her pies, made her candy and cookies. She even sold her pies for the holidays and was overwhelmed with how many people wanted them.
One of her other favorite hobbies was crocheting. Everything from dolls to kitchen towels and Afghans. You could always find her with a crochet hook and yarn in her hands.
Our father was the love of her life. After dating for a brief time, while he was home on leave from the Korean War, he asked our mother to marry him. She said yes and 72 years later they were still holding hands until God called her home. They are the perfect testimony of unconditional love.
Our mother will be dearly missed. Our comfort and peace comes from our lord Jesus, knowing He is cradling her in His arms.
