Clifford (Bill) Meyer (81) was born to Frank and Hattie (Mailloux) Meyer on July 28, 1943 in Denver, CO. He went to be with his Lord Jesus, peacefully in his home, with family at his side on June 18, 2025 in Sturgis, SD.
He went to school in Sturgis, graduating from Brown High School in 1961. He was a gentle man who could do anything he set his mind to. He always had the time to help others. He loved his Lord Jesus and wanted everyone to know that Jesus was the only way.
He married his long-time school mate, Judy Myers on March 29, 1963. They enjoyed 62 years together. They had two sons. He went to work at Ft. Meade VA hospital in June of 1963 and retired after 35 years in 1998. He was in the Army National Guard for 23 years, retiring in 1988.
He is survived by his wife Judy, Sturgis, SD; his sons Delbert (Del) Meyer and wife Lisa, Sturgis, SD, and Michael (Mike) Meyer and wife Tori, Colorado Springs, CO; 10 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; his sister-in-law Bonnie Meyer, Sturgis, SD and brother-in-law James (Betty) Myers of PA; many nieces and nephews; and special friends Russ & Cindy Rigsby and Del & Louise Hockley.
A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, June 24, 2025 at Crossroads Assembly of God beginning at 10:00. Burial will follow at Black Hills National Cemetery, Sturgis, SD.
