Barry Todd Bisbee

Barry Todd Bisbee, born on September 19, 1959, in Faulkton, South Dakota, was a beacon of kindness and selflessness to all who knew him. On September 12, 2025, Barry passed away of natural causes in Rapid City, South Dakota, at the age of 65, leaving behind a legacy of love, dedication, and unwavering faith.

Barry was the cherished husband of Barbara Zoller Bisbee, with whom he shared forty-four beautiful years of marriage. Their union was blessed with a son, Beau Bisbee, who continues to carry on his father’s virtues. Barry’s vibrant life was also enriched by the company of his siblings, Dave (Cindy) Bisbee, Bruce (Bernie) Bisbee, Colleen (John) Klein, Dixie Bisbee, and Diana Bisbee. He was greeted in heaven by his parents, Dale and Marge Bisbee, and his brothers, Russ and Dan Bisbee, who preceded him in death.

A proud graduate of Cresbard High School in Faulk County, South Dakota, Barry’s thirst for knowledge led him to attend Black Hill State College in Spearfish, South Dakota. His professional life was a testament to his hard work and entrepreneurial spirit, as he successfully owned and operated Mayflower Moving Company in Rapid City for 20 years. Barry also dedicated 25 years of service to Lift Pro Equipment in Rapid City, where his expertise and dedication were invaluable.

A man of deep Christian faith, Barry lived his life as a testament to the words of Jesus: “Love one another as I have loved you” (John 13:34). He exemplified this commandment through his actions, always placing the needs of others above his own and extending a helping hand wherever it was needed.

Barry’s interests were as vast as the South Dakota sky. He delighted in the great outdoors, spending his leisure time camping under the stars, boating on serene lakes, hunting in the crisp autumn air, and fishing in the tranquil waters. His passion for riding motorcycles was matched by his commitment to ABATE, where he advocated for the safety and rights of his fellow riders.

Those who knew Barry will remember him for his handy nature, always able to fix anything that needed repair. His legacy is not only in the physical things he mended but also in the hearts he touched with his kindness and the lives he enriched through his selfless acts.
