BELLE FOURCHE, S.D. – Belle Fourche hosted the Northern Hills Invite Track and Field Meet on Tuesday.
On the men’s side, Kash Le LaCheur of Belle Fourche was a double event winner, taking the 100 and 200 meter dashes.
Meanwhile, Clink Winkler of Newell, also captured two running events – the 1,600 and 3,200 meters.
Another Belle Fourche athlete, Lennon Clarkson, won the 800 meters.
In the relay races, Timber Lake was a triple event winner, capturing the 4×100, the 4×400 and the 4×800.
On the women’s side, Jazlyn Olson of Belle Fourche won the 100 meters, Mya Nowowiejski, also of Belle Fourche, won the 200 meters, Josie Didier of Hulett captured the 400 meters, Haylyn Cooney of Sundance won the 800 and Misty Drieling of Belle Fourche took the 1,600 meters.
Harding County’s Jozi Schuchard was a double-event winner, sweeping the hurdles by winning the 100 and 300-meters.
In the relay races, Harding County won the 4×400 and the 4×800 meters while Belle Fourche claimed the 4×100 meters and Hot Springs winning the 4×200 meters.
Journey King of Faith won the triple jump for the Longhorns.
