STURGIS, S.D. – Starting Friday, July 11, 2025, Bear Butte Gardens is partnering with Chef Travis at Brew Berry Bistro to launch a brand-new market named Sturgis Gathering Market. This new market will take place outdoors in the parking lot of the Brew Berry Bistro (the former bMassa Berry building on Lazelle Street in Sturgis), and will feature the following:
● Fresh local produce, meats, grains, and eggs
● Value-added food items such as baked goods, canned goods, and prepared meals
● Homemade and handcrafted artisan products
● Live local music at each market
● Short, engaging educational opportunities such as cooking demonstrations, gardening tips, land stewardship talks, and craft lessons
Organziers say “We aim to create a welcoming, community-centered, folksy-but-organized gathering that
celebrates the region’s growers, makers, and creative talent. This market will occur from 4:00
pm to 7:00 pm every Friday.”
