Names Released in Fatal Crash Near Wall

RAPID CITY, S.D. – A single-vehicle crash Wednesday morning one mile west of Wall, South Dakota, resulted in the death of one man and serious injuries to another. The incident occurred on Interstate 90 at mile marker 109 and prompted a rapid response from several local and regional agencies.

Authorities identified the deceased as 41-year-old Ramon Ray Two Bulls of Box Elder, South Dakota, who was driving a 2014 GMC Yukon. Marcus Drew Two Bulls, 38, of Rapid City, South Dakota, a passenger in the vehicle, sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries. Both occupants were wearing seatbelts. Both individuals were transported to Monument Health by Life Flight and the Rapid City Fire Department.

According to preliminary crash information, the GMC Yukon was traveling eastbound on I-90 when it veered off the road and entered the median. The vehicle then struck a median crossing, became airborne, and overturned.

Responding agencies included the Pennington County Sheriff’s Office, South Dakota Highway Patrol, Wall Volunteer Fire Department, Wall Ambulance, Rapid City Fire Department, and Black Hills Life Flight. The South Dakota Highway Patrol is leading the investigation into the crash.
