Multiple Car Accident In Rapid City; Heavy Fog Conditions

RAPID CITY, S.D. – A multi-vehicle accident occurred this morning at the intersection of Catron Boulevard and Mount Rushmore Road in Rapid City, amidst heavy fog conditions. The collision, reported close to 7:45 a.m., involved a black Ford truck, a gray Subaru sedan, and a black SUV.

The Subaru sustained extensive damage, with its airbags deployed. The Ford truck appeared to have some damage. Details regarding the extent of damage to the black SUV were not immediately available.

Rapid City Fire Department personnel were on the scene by 7:52 a.m. Further information on injuries or the cause of the accident has not yet been released. Motorists in the Rapid City and Black Hills area of South Dakota are advised to exercise caution due to ongoing foggy conditions.
