Congratulations to Matt Husfeldt and Dalton Gustafson!
This morning, Chief Hedrick presented Officer Matt Husfeldt and Dalton Gustafson with the Combat Cross award for their involvement in keeping a busy neighborhood safe late last year. They responded to the Atlas Street apartments for an armed individual who was pointing a gun at vehicles, pedestrians, and buildings. The suspect later sheltered in an apartment he didn’t belong in and later pointed the gun at the Officers. Matt and Dalton worked together to stop the threat and render the community safe again. Thankfully, no Officers or civilians were hurt during this tense situation, and it was due to the professional actions by Matt, Dalton, and the other responding Officers. This award recognizes their decisive actions, bravery, and dedication to the community.
