RAPID CITY, S.D. – A 30-year-old Rapid City man pleaded not guilty in Pennington County court Monday to several charges, including attempted first-degree murder.
Trevon Spotted Eagle is charged with shooting another man in the head during an incident on East North Street in September of 2024.
Additional charges include two counts of aggravated assault, possession of a firearm by a felon, possession of a firearm while intoxicated and possession of a controlled weapon.
If convicted, Spotted Eagle could face up to nearly 60 years in prison.
He will next appear in court on February 24th.
